This our final Quarterly update of 2023, and it’s hard to fit everything in.
Next year this will simply be the roundups as we expand across the UK into Northern Ireland with ‘Branching Out’ and Scotland with ‘Agroforestry’.
9Trees has blossomed from a small group of committed individuals and our remit has expanded considerably. You’re invited to explore the new thinking, possibilities and opportunities in this latest newsletter!
For us, every year is the year of the tree; now we invite you to join us in our pledge to improve our landscapes and in being proactive in balancing your carbon footprint.

Whether sponsoring or planting trees,

We have 8 fantastic sites with trees already planted, and we now have 25 more sites lined up, from Land’s End to John O’Groats. Our next locations to plant are in Brecon in Powys, near Llandeilo in Carmarthenshire, and Clyro near Hay on Wye.
We won an award! The whole team were really pleased to learn that we won The Natural Environment Award from Future Leap and the Festival of Sustainable Business.
As of January 2022, we gained sites in Anglesey, Derbyshire and Dorset.
This March, we planted a new nature reserve in Dorset;
Working with the landowner who dug a pond, planted hedgerows and seeded wildflowers to create a rewilding space for decades to come.
We had a group of 22 jolly volunteers join us for our Eco Matting day near Rhayader last month. We managed to safeguard around 900 trees that day. Email to join us on our next day near Builth Wells on December 11th.
We can plant 10,000 trees today, we just need your help!
We now have sites in Derbyshire, Dorset, Ceredigion and Anglesey, but we are still looking for subscribers, businesses and donations to help us fill this space.
We've now planted 5500 trees!!
They have all been planted through your support of the 9Trees project and this is just the beginning.

Our founders have dedicated most of their lives to the conservation of our countryside but over the years have seen a drastic decline in the quantity and quality of natural spaces.
