Wildlife currently on site in the
Banner Woodlands

Brecon site

Trees for the Team will be planted on the Brecon site.

This summer, we will be undertaking an ecology survey of all our sites.

We can visibly notice the difference on our sites after 1 year of planted tree growth and fencing out sheep.

In year 2, restoration begins to show clear promise; by year 3, the land is gradually becoming a home for wildlife!

Sarah took part in Eco Matting on ‘Coedwig Ffynnon’  (Well-Spring Wood) near Elan Valley

Supported by the new growth of grasses and wildflowers, biodiversity which flourishes starts to assemble a whole food web that support apex predators.

There will also be events as diverse as eco-therapy, creative writing and blue sky thinking.
